From Open Fields to Commissioning
Westwind oversees the complete process, from consulting and planning, to construction and subsequent operation of the wind turbines. Our expertise includes the implementation of both national and international projects. In doing so, we always work swiftly and closely with our project partners.
It starts with open fields: By leasing or purchasing them, Westwind ensures planning security for its clients. Whether it is expert reports, approval procedures, local residents, or nature conservation: We conduct negotiations and use our experience to bring all parties involved together.
At an early stage, Westwind finds a suitable grid operator and a range of acceptable wind turbines. Location-suitable and manufacturer-independent. Finally, the pieces of the puzzle are connected: From site supervision to commissioning and final acceptance, Westwind supervises the complete implementation of the project. All parties involved are always integrated into the process.

Information for Landowners
Are you the owner of open fields or wooded areas and would like to know whether they are suitable for wind energy, or you already operate a wind turbine and are asking yourself whether repowering is worth it? We would be more than happy to help and assess your property or your existing wind turbine. We utilize regional planning and nature conservational legal aspects to create a comprehensive concept for the implementation of your wind energy project.
We would also be happy to support project companies, that are in the planning stage or companies that already have a permit, if, for example, there are financing issues regarding the tendering process.
For us at Westwind, it is important that the interests of all parties involved are represented during the implementation process, this is the only way to establish a trusting partnership, paving the way for a successful joint project.
